The installation file is free to download below. Without a key it activates nothing — which is why the key is what matters.
Is your antivirus flagging the file as suspicious? That happens with installation files: they are compressed and are not distributed through the Microsoft Store. If you are unsure, write to us — we will go through it with you.

- 01Download the installation file.
- 02Open the file and follow the setup wizard.
- 03Start any Office program, for example Word.
- 04Enter your licence key when you are asked for it.
Activation
- Open the program you installed.
- Choose “Enter product key” and type in your licence key.
- Confirm — activation runs online and takes a few seconds.
Your licence key is in your order confirmation and always available under My account.

The system requirements are on every product page in the shop — under System requirements, with the source at Microsoft. They differ considerably between versions, which is why each product shows its own rather than a general list.
Every product in this shop is for Windows. Not compatible with Apple macOS™, Android devices or Chromebooks.
Common problems
- 1Please check your junk or spam folder too: because of the link inside, the email sometimes ends up there.
- 2You can look up the key yourself at any time. All you need is your order number and the email address you ordered with.
- 3If it still does not turn up, write to us: we will send it again and, if you prefer, to a different address.
- 1Open Windows Settings and go to System → Activation.
- 2Choose “Change product key” and enter the key from our email.
- 3Click “Next” and then “Activate”. The machine has to be connected to the internet.
- 4Check that your Windows edition matches the key: a Pro key will not activate Home, nor the other way round.
- 5If an error message appears, send us a screenshot.
- 1This error is common when moving from Home to Pro and can almost always be fixed.
- 2First enter Microsoft's generic key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
- 3Click “Next”.
- 4Now disconnect from the internet. This is the decisive step.
- 5Let the upgrade finish — the machine will restart on its own.
- 6After the restart, enter our key to activate.
- 1Open any Office program, for example Word.
- 2Go to “File” → “Account”.
- 3Choose “Change product key” and enter it in the window that opens.
- 4If that option does not appear, reinstalling from our download is what fixes it.
- 1Open any Office file, for example in Word.
- 2Go to “File” → “Account”.
- 3That page shows whether the product is activated and which version it is.
- 1It depends on the option you bought: 1 device, 2 devices or more. The exact number is in your order confirmation.
- 2While the activations are in use, a perpetual licence cannot be moved to additional devices.
- 1Leftovers from an earlier Office installation block the new one, even if the program was already uninstalled.
- 2Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find every Office entry and uninstall it.
- 3If anything is left behind, open the Windows “Get Help” app and start the Office uninstall troubleshooter there.
- 4With Office 2024 that troubleshooter does not work: there the only way is Settings → Apps.
- 5Restart the machine and then install our version.
- 1It is almost always leftovers from an earlier Office installation.
- 2First remove every version of Office from Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
- 3Restart the machine.
- 4Install the version from our download again.
- 5If the same error appears, send us a screenshot and we will find another way round it.
- 1That file is part of Microsoft's Visual C++ Redistributable and is missing from your system.
- 2The cleanest fix is to install Microsoft's official package — both variants, 64- and 32-bit.
- 3Restart the machine and try the installation again.
- 1That file belongs to Office. It is missing or damaged because the Office installation is damaged.
- 2Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Office → Modify and choose “Online Repair”.
- 3If that is not enough, open Command Prompt as administrator and run: sfc /scannow
- 4Then: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- 5If the error persists, uninstall Office completely and install it again.
- 1This happens with compressed installation files: the antivirus cannot see what is inside and warns as a precaution.
- 2The file contains only the Microsoft software you bought.
- 3Add your downloads folder as a temporary exception and start the installation again.
- 1S mode blocks any installation that does not come from the Microsoft Store, however safe the source.
- 2Open Settings → System → Activation.
- 3Under “Switch to Windows Pro” choose “Go to the Store”. Careful: do not click the link under “Upgrade your edition of Windows”.
- 4In the Store, on the “Switch out of S mode” page, click “Get”.
- 5The switch is free but permanent: it cannot be undone. Your machine stays protected by Windows Defender.
- 1This error also appears without S mode; in that case it is Smart App Control.
- 2Open Settings → Privacy & security → App & browser control.
- 3Click “Smart App Control settings” (in blue).
- 4Set it to “Off” and run the installation again.
- 1Microsoft does not offer this edition as a consumer download, which is why the setup.office.com route does not work here.
- 2Install the version from the link we sent you. It is the same software, obtained by a different route.
- 3Only then can the key be entered.
- 1No. These licences are for Windows 10 and Windows 11 only.

- 2The Court of Justice of the European Union recognised that such resale is lawful, which is why many shops can offer them more cheaply.
- 3The software you install is the same as buying it directly from Microsoft. The only difference is the purchase route.
- 4Because Microsoft does not offer this edition to consumers as a download, we serve the installation file ourselves.
- 1If the order did not complete, no payment reached us either: you have not been charged.
- 2Check the details you entered, or try another payment method.
- 3If you can still see a charge, write to us with the date and we will check it right away.
